Smoke Detection
Traditional Smoke Detectors:
Conventional smoke detectors offer tested reliability and are
available in Ionization, Photoelectric and combined
Photoelectric/Thermal models; for both spot and duct
installations. Smoke detectors are available in both two and four-
wire base options and are compatible with a broad range of
alarm and suppression controls.
Intelligent Smoke Detectors:
Intelligent smoke detectors are available in ionization (smoke),
photoelectric (smoke) and thermal and/ or thermal (smoke)
models. They are electrically addressable and fully field
programmable. The intelligent detector is sophisticated and
monitors its performance, makes critical decisions and reports
only when required to the fire suppression system’s control units.
